Besides acting as an intermediary between
visiting artists and the general public, the
Institute will research the relationship between
the arts and society. This analysis should help to
reveal mechanisms of artistic creativity and the
resulting knowledge will be integrated into the life
of the Institute. The Institute will further promote
the notion of a "living sculpture" as an art form
which will be introduced to a broader public via
symposiums and seminars.

Twice a year, a publication will illustrate the
research of the Institute.
