Following the success of the previous four Dada festivals in Zürich, of the Real Biennale (2005) and of Proces (2006), in Prague, this year's Dada festival will inaugurate the opening of the D.I.V.O. Institute in Kolin, in the Czech Republic. This year's festival will take place between 20th and 28th June, 2008 .

Once again, various unusual venues will provide a stage where artists and performers, working within different cultural disciplines, can meet, interact and exchange ideas thereby offering a socially-and-culturally-mixed audience an inspiring and varied Dada program.

For the very first time, the small Bohemian town of Kolin will encounter exciting work from the vibrant, international, Zürich-based art scene. Invited artists will be offered a testing ground for their experiments as well as a forum for international exchange with other, cultural activists.

Through a close liaison with their Czech counterparts, institutions and media, the Dada festival will seek to familiarize local people with the radical, contemporary Zürich art and culture scene.
